Compact substations 15, 27 and 35 kV

Our compact substations can be installed in any project requiring direct use of electrical power from CFE’s medium-voltage distribution networks. Therefore, they are ideal for industrial plants, hotels, shopping centers, banks, restaurants, etc. We tailor our solutions to your needs.

We have designs focused on meeting the strictest market demands, with great versatility in their arrangements, based on user safety. We deliver a product with excellent manufacturing quality and accessories for its automation.

The compact substations are designed under the NOM-J-68-1981, IEC 529, IEC 298 and IEC 144 standards.

We offer three types of cells, offering any configuration required by the customer, with both indoor and outdoor services.

i. MEASURING CELL. For receiving CFE equipment. It also houses the service or feed-through switch, which completely cuts off power to the substation.

ii. CONNECTION/COUPLING/TRANSITION CELL. Cell designed for 3 uses:

a. As a cell connected to the power cable

b. As a bus cell, for transition from principal to derivatives

c. As a coupling cell for the interconnection of substations with transformers.

iii. DISCONNECTOR CELL. Cell in which the load-carrying disconnector is housed. The main characteristics of this cell are:

a. All series disconnectors are for 630 Amps.

b. With integrated grounding blade.

c. Voltage presence indicators which indicate which phase the fuse has failed.

c. Mechanical system for removing fuses, without the need to introduce poles, pliers, or personnel into the substation, which provides maximum user safety.
